Low Ropes Course

The Low Ropes Course is a series of experiential initiatives using a variety of platforms, boards, ropes, cables, and other assorted props. The activities are close to the ground so the perceived risk is low, but still challenging to complete. Not intended to be physically demanding, the adventure comes in working together to tackle problem solving challenges that are experiential in nature.

Low Rope Team Building Adventures

In a day your group may negotiate many obstacles such as:

Nitro Belt Team Building Adventures

Nitro Crossing, where your team has a valuable liquid that they must safely transfer across an imaginary ravine without spilling a drop.

The Islands Team Building Adventures

Or, your team may need to evacuate everyone to safety by solving the predicament of the incomplete bridge on The Islands.

Spider Web Team Building Adventures

The Spider Web offers a unique challenge. The group must pass themselves through a giant web without touching any part of it lest we wake up the giant spider. Or, approach it as business problem, trying to accomplish the goal while avoiding the snares along the way.

All the challenges are designed to explore important team skills such as leadership, communication, problem solving, collaboration, cooperation, consensus, listening, strategizing, focus, and positive risk taking. The activities are designed to be safe, fun, educational and enlightening.

A Basic Program

We begin each program with a few light warm up activities designed to loosen up your bodies, brains, and funny bones. Next, we begin with some simple problem solving exercises to engage the brains and unleash your creativity while encouraging you to work together to complete the task or goal. Then, as the day progresses, we will continue to challenge your group by changing the difficulty level or focus of the activities. Each Activity offers your group specific challenges that must be overcome to succeed. During your time together on the course you will realize a tighter bond developing within your group as well as improved levels of communication and trust while all the time having fun.

Processing the Experience

Through out the day we will take time out to reflect on the activities and connect the experiences to your specific venue whether it is the workplace, the sports arena, the family, your church, or your community. This an important component of your Low Ropes experience. Here is where we ask engaging questions to help you get the most out of your day. It is during these times that our participants are able to connect the experience to their real lives. By the end of the day you will walk away with new outlooks towards yourself, your peers, and your community.

Does the idea of the Low Ropes Course sound interesting but a little too physically challenging? We can still create a program that uses some of our lower impact elements. Please refer to our page on Team Building for more information.
